Academy Hall
In addition to the First-Year Experience office, the following offices are all in Academy Hall, the Student Life Services Center.
Student Health Center
Contains information about the SHC hours, health education, services offered, contacts, appointments, alcohol/drug policy and other vital statistics.
Financial Aid
Work study, grants, scholarships, and other financial information.
Dean of Students
The Dean of Students Office provides individual student support, programs, and services to students that promote academic excellence and personal development. It continuously seeks to improve the quality of campus life and culture within a diverse community.
Student Experience
The Student Experience (SE) office, part of Rensselaer’s Division of Student Life, aims to ensure that all undergraduate students are successful both in and out of the classroom. Facilitating the transition from high school through graduation, the SE team provides guidance, support, challenge, and intervention to students. As a keystone in Rensselaer’s CLASS (Clustered Learning, Advocacy, and Support for Students) Initiative, the SE office’s collaborations span across Institute divisions and the five schools.
Registrar
The Office of the Registrar recommends academic policy to the faculty, implements academic policy guidelines determined by faculty, maintains accurate student academic records, and preserves the confidentiality, security and ethical handling of those records.
Bursar
The main activities of the Office of the Bursar include student billing and collections for all graduate and undergraduate students at the Institute.
Archer Center for Student Leadership Development
The Archer Center for Student Leadership Development provides leadership education — both in and outside of the classroom — for the benefit of Rensselaer students, faculty, staff, administrators and local communities.
